Casa B+P is an apartment for a young family. The renovation started from the living area, where we introduced a new opening between the kitchen and the living room. This window is inserted into a coloured volume that hosts a big kitchen. The clients needed to reach the underground spaces directly from the living room, so we designed a stairs that could work at the same time as a connection and as a room partition/bookcase. The metal railings grows and becomes a piece of furniture that hosts books and objects. The stairs is hanging to the ceiling as a light metal element.
